The Adventure ends at the Hall of Explorers, one of Azeroth’s foremost collections of ancient relics and a place of ongoing archaeological research. So this is how it ends, with the Hall of Explorers; not a bad place for Hearthstone’s [Free] League of Explorers Adventure to conclude. After a month (and an extra, off week), the Adventure has concluded with the last – and largest- Wing of the whole Adventure.

The player enters a Downed state when their HP reaches 0. In this state, the player is laying on the ground face down and is able to crawl at approximately one-tenth of the normal running speed. The player is given 80 seconds to crawl out of the aggressiveness zone of monsters to be able to Restore Chi back in the living state. blade & soul gold The player has several options to recover from this state. Blade & Soul will be using a very minimalistic UI, keeping things clean and less cluttered. The action buttons will change depending on what abilities can be used at that point and time. For example, say you’ve just knocked your enemy into the air with a neat ability, while the target is in the air your action buttons will change, showing you new abilities that can be used on mid air targets. Let me stop blabbering here and allow you to watch this video on your own. It does a better job explaining it than I do!

This encounter was not bad but it’s probably the most RNG one of the bunch so far, and that’s saying something. The way this encounter works is that the Boss has the Ancient Power Hero Power that gives each player a random card each turn, and that card costs 0 (in Heroic, only Hex gets the 0-cost card). As you can imagine, you might get a 1/1 useless minion while Hex gets the grandest Legendary. If the RNG isn’t working in your favor in the first few turns of the encounter, don’t think twice about conceding and starting all over again.

His deck is primarily beast minions and he can throw plenty of them on the board, buy blade and soul gold so expect to have a lot of minions to fight against for board control. While your primary goal will be to control the board, don’t take too long to go face because one random minion can change the whole board balance. By the end of the Adventure, the Staff of Origination will be combined and all kinds of crazy things will happen. The four bosses were quite entertaining and the cards we are getting have been eagerly awaited, especially cards like Desert Camel and Elise Starseeker (one for practical reasons and one for the fun of it. So, let’s head for the Hall of Explorers and wrap this Adventure up.

Korean fighting MMO Blade & Soul has just released its first content update, buy blade and soul gold titled Rising Waters, which is aimed at mid and high-level players as well as PvP. The latest announcement was made just as Blade & Soul hit a major milestone only three weeks into its launch: 2 million players in US and Europe. That said, don’t be surprised if by the time you’re Level 20 that you begin forgetting what the story is about in the first place. While the characters you meet aren’t necessarily forgettable, there are enough required fetch quests and kill quests to make the adventure a slog, and you don’t spend enough time with most of the NPCs before you need to move on to the next area with a whole brand new set of NPCs.

In between these quests are even more fetch-and-kill quests in the form of side missions that are technically optional (and not voiced like the main story missions) but are the fastest way to earn experience points so that you can reach the level cap of 45. The fact that some enemies are copied and pasted into later sections doesn’t help either. That said, don’t be surprised if by the time you’re Level 20 that you begin forgetting what the story is about in the first place. Of course, the first step to any MMO is character creation.

I was pleasantly surprised at the range of customization Blade & Soul offered for a free MMO. First off, the game gives you four different races to choose from: the Gon, Lyn, Yun, and the Jin. The Gon are a sturdy, physically-powerful people and the Jin, while similar, are slightly smaller and lithe. The Yun are an entirely-female race with a strong connection to the natural world, while the Lyn are a small, nimble race with large animal-like ears and tails.

Fortunately, the combat system has the active engagement and intricacy similar to a fighting game like Street Fighter that quests aren’t as boring as they would be otherwise. No matter which of the seven classes you select, from the melee-focused Destroyer and Kung Fu Master, to the more ranged Force Master and Summoner, you will need to be proficient in combat. Case in point, there is no healing class in Blade & Soul. Apart from dumplings which only work outside combat and healing potions that work off a long cooldown, most of your healing is done through landing hits (if you navigate your skill tree appropriately). More than that, if you find yourself needing to heal often, you’re doing it wrong.

Bloodshade Harbor is a 4 or 6 player dungeon, and its 24-player version is Nightshade Harbor. blade & soul gold These new end-game dungeons allow players to go against the evil Blackram pirates and Poharan’s boss, Admiral Hae Mujin. As for Mushin’s Tower, a single player Heroic dungeon, the area must be worked through floor-by-floor with unique and increasing challenges on each level. The Rising Waters content update also marks the start of Blade & Soul ’s PvP preseason. What does that mean? A new in-game UI will help players evaluate their skills and earn Zen Beans (PvP currency in Blade & Soul) from their battles against other players.

You can mix and match your set pieces in any way you wish. Your Light Armor gloves could be one piece of the set, Heavy Armor helm the second piece, Medium Armor belt the third piece and the daggers you are dual wielding would make up for the 5-piece set bonus. Craftable Sets are sets of armor and weaponry that can be crafted by players pursuing blacksmithing, clothing and/or woodworking professions. For every set there is a special crafting site, one in each of the Alliances or in a neutral zone.

Each zone in every Alliance contains three crafting sites for three different sets, while each neutral territory provides an access to two more sets. To craft a set item, you must have researched a number of traits for that specific item type. Sets with the crafting sites in lower-level zones require few traits to be researched. As you progress through your Alliance zones, the sets become more complex and require more traits to be known, and hence more research. Once you gain access to neutral zones, you are able to craft items in the most powerful sets.

Set bonus crafting stations can be found all over Tamriel. Before you can craft an item with the bonus, you will need to learn between two and eight traits. The second requirement is that you have to be able to travel to the special crafting station. Even if you are very low level, you could in in theory at least travel to most of these locations, so your level on its own is not an obstacle. There are a couple of sets which require you to be at a certain stage of a quest line. Spectre’s Eye set is crafted in Coldharbour, so unless you have progressed far enough in the main quest line, you will not be able to craft that set. Same thing with Eyes of Mara, Shalidor’s Curse and Kagrenac’s Hope sets – these sets require you to have finished Mages Guild and Fighters Guild quest lines.
