Vanilla WOW Gold The premiere of World of Warcraft Classic at the end of August attracted a lot of people which – unfortunately – translated into huge queues. Apparently however some were not enough because almost two weeks later there were DDoS attacks on Blizzard servers. Today the company announced on the official WoW forum that a person suspected of causing these problems has been arrested. Her identity has not yet been disclosed.
The case began on Saturday September 7 when the Internet was flooded with a wave of reports of problems not only in World of Warcraft but also Overwatch. In the first title players connected to the server and yet the game restarted for no reason. In turn people playing in the Competitive mode in Blizzard’s team shooter were thrown out of matches and forced to watch the screen of rejoining the game indefinitely. Soon a publisher’s entry appeared informing about DDoS attack causing these problems. After a while everything seemed to be back to normal. Unfortunately the next day players had to face another wave of attacks. This even affected the Overwatch League (via comment post by Wolf “Proxywolf” Schröder on Twitter) not to mention again problems with joining the game in WoW and Overwatch. Only after a few hours it was possible to stabilize the situation on almost all servers.
Blizzard is not the only company that has problems with DDoS. Ubisoft had to face them cheap Vanilla WOW Goldrecently after the debut of Operation Ember Rise in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. The French publisher announced that it intends to draw consequences against the culprits not only in the game but also by legal means. It would not be a precedent – Blizzard himself convicted a Romanian player for an attack on World of Warcraft servers eight years earlier. So we can think that a person detained in connection with recent problems is also not to count on the concern of the concern.
