World of Warcraft Classic get last stress test this week

The WoW Classic Release Date is edging ever closer, with the game set to launch August 27, 2019. However, before the game launches Blizzard wants one more crack at testing the game’s robust servers. As such, there’s one final stress test coming later today to allow Blizzard to really put the game to the test. For anyone who doesn’t know, WoW Classic is basically the game as it was when it first launched. So, a vanilla version before Blizzard started releasing a whole plethora of expansion sets. WoW Classic has been in beta since May, with a few testing weekends taking place to stress test the servers. Originally, the final test was due to take place in late July. However, Blizzard has announced that one last pre-launch test will now be taking place this week. On the 8th of August, the servers will open up again at 7PM UK time through until Friday, at which point, the servers will be switched off again. Players are being asked to focus the bulk of their playtime in the first two hours of the test since that’s the time that Blizzard will be monitoring the game for the most significant issues.
