The closed beta phase of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic is on its way

A few days ago, Blizzard started beta testing the first expansion for World of Warcraft – no joke! Namely, after the successful launch of World of Warcraft Classic two years ago, which returned a bunch of players who gave up on it to the original version of this mega-popular mass, it was only a matter of time before it was upgraded with the first addition to Burning Crusade. It was originally released in 2007 and although we would expect that there is nothing more to fix in it, the developers still decided to include it in the test period, either because of the actual corrections, or because of the players’ need to buy a subscription again.

The closed beta phase of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic is on its way and, according to some Blizzard-related streamers, it can start at any time. Or has it even started? Last night a new entry for World of Warcraft appeared in the Blizzard launcher for various players: Burning Crusade Classic Beta.

After the numerous findings from the first two days of the closed beta of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic, the hardworking testers invested many more hours on the Outland at the weekend to try things out, check information and look for bugs. We bring you up to date:

There was a hotfix for the Urnether tooltip. The important item is now bound when it is picked up and can no longer be sold to other players. Primordial Nether can drop with luck in normal dungeons and safely with final bosses in heroic dungeons. You can also purchase Urnether for ten Badges of Justice from the relevant dealer.
The healing of Ancient Manslayer of the Hakkari scales one to one with your plus healing in the beta. Booster shamans who carry two of the axes generate an enormously high level of self-healing thanks to the Spiritual Speed talent – perfect for the level phase in Outland.
The healing from Skull Flame Shield also scales to the same extent with your plus healing. The damage doesn’t scale.
Discarding the coins from Zul’Gurub no longer gives experience points at level 58.
Blade of Eternal Darkness is still strong in big pulls in the TBC beta.
Handing in materials to NPCs in the capitals rewards you with experience points the first time.
Despite the weakening of many area spells, mages with a customized style of play in Maraudon, Zul’Farrak and Zul’Gurub can still perform quite large pulls.
In the beta, a new, big pull is possible in Zul’Gurub, with the voodoo slaves in front of Jin’do.
It is possible to summon low-level characters to Outland using Warlocks.
Outland’s first dungeons give more experience than Stratholme.
Mages can quite easily farm trash groups solo in the slave shelters and thus receive experience points extremely efficiently.

Players selected to participate in the beta test will receive an email invitation directing them to download the beta client directly from the desktop app.

WoW: Burning Crusade Classic

The good news is that more invites will be released during the beta, meaning that there will still be plenty of time to join before things wrap up.

The beta version of Burning Crusade Classic can be accessed only with an active user account, and with invitations that Blizzard sends to player addresses. According to fresh information, invitations are sent every now and then, so if you still haven’t received yours, you shouldn’t lose hope. All the more so as it is not yet known how much time the Burning Crusade Classic will spend in beta, nor when we can expect it to become active on the servers, but we doubt it will be more than a couple of months. In beta, it is currently possible to build characters up to the final 64th stage of development (70th in the final edition) and popular add-ons are disabled for testing purposes, and those who gain access can move their own characters to test servers or create completely new ones, which is not bad for trying out classes you haven’t played.

So we must continue to be patient. According to a “global string” in the WoW files, the pre-patch of Burning Crusade Classic could go online on May 18th. Wouldn’t it be great if we could test the Outland content extensively beforehand. We’ll keep you up to date. offers a large mount of cheap WoW Classic gold that can make your game life easier and help you build a huge advantage in game. World of Warcraft Fan lets gamers see what iconic World of Warcraft locations look like in Unreal Engine 4

A video by YouTuber Daniel L shows what Stormwind City, Goldshire, Duskwood and Grizzly Hills from World of Warcraft would look like if the game was made in Unreal Engine 4 game engine, which supports standard ray tracing.

Now I’ll be honest here, these Ray Tracing effects are not that mind-blowing. For instance, CONTROL and Metro Exodus showcase in a better way the visual improvements that this tech brings to the table. On the other hand, though, we should not forget that this a fan remake from a single person.

One World of Warcraft fan has a YouTube channel called Daniel L that lets gamers see what iconic World of Warcraft locations look like in Unreal Engine 4. The channel is five years old, and features several different locations from the game, including Westfall, the Elwynn Forest, and the Grizzly Hills. The latest video uploaded to the channel is the first to show off a few of these locations with Nvidia RTX ray-tracing.

The views of Stormwind City are brilliant, with that beautiful stone architecture showing age and weathering against the bright blues, purples, and oranges of the roof tiles. And, I swear you can feel the warmth of the embers glowing in the fireplace at the Inn. Duskwood is absolutely the star of the show here – chilly and gloomy, bar the torches and lanterns that light the way. “I’d crap my pants if I quested in this version,” said Xenta Atnex in the YouTube comments. “Honestly, every other spider/skeleton/wolf would make me backflip out of my chair,” added Magrior. Fans have praised the build and would love to see new areas interpreted by Daniel L, like Suramar, Azeroth, and Ardenweald. “I love this game so much, this needs to happen in my lifetime. Thanks for doing this, it’s absolutely amazing. It’s art,” summarised Ioan Karamfilov.

DSO Gaming writes that Daniel L does not intend to make the environments public to other players. It’s not the first World of Warcraft fan remake in Unreal 4. Daniel L has been working on WoW remakes in Unreal for years. In 2019 he published an earlier version of Stormwind City. That same year, 3D artist Wiktor Ohman recreated parts of WoW in Unreal 4 and YouTuber recreated Axcel Highbanks.

But anyway, I’m pretty sure that a lot of World of Warcraft fans will appreciate this video. Daniel has recreated four World of Warcraft environments. These are Stormwind City, Goldshire (Lion’s Pride Inn), Duskwood and Grizzly Hills.

For World of Warcraft fans, the Daniel L channel is a nice place to check out some faithfully recreated settings. There’s even a video detailing the creation process of Stormwind City, so if nothing else, it’s one more thing to do while waiting on the release of the WoW Burning Crusade Classic expansion later this year.

The Classic Impressions of a WoW Veteran

WOW Classic Gold US Honestly I was a huge fan and vehement supporter of another MMO which gave me many nice hours – Dark Age of Camelot. First of all I did not want to give in to the siren calls of many friends who had already experienced one adventure after another in Azeroth. However at some point the (group) pressure was so great that I finally gave in bought a copy of World of Warcraft and created my first character – a sorceress with the rather silly name “Hexaluda”. I was not much more creative then. I was convinced anyway that it would only be a short flying visit to WoW.

After all the game could not be as good as my beloved Dark Age of Camelot to which I soon wanted to return. But rarely had I made such a mistake in my career as a passionate gambler as in this case. Weeks became weeks weeks became years. Since then cheap WOW Classic US Gold I have spent (too much) many hours in World of Warcraft have experienced all the changes and upheavals over the years and also met many friends. It was and is a not insignificant and emotional part of my life.

I was accordingly euphoric when Blizzard announced World of Warcraft at BlizzCon 2017 after a period of rumors and speculation. In my mind’s eye scenes from bygone days cropped up making me sigh pleasantly with nostalgia. Finally play the old World of Warcraft again? Without all the modern gadgets and comforts of the current version? Oh yes I really wanted to play that. I have marked the launch date in the calendar can hardly wait for day X and on the night of August 27 2019 I plunged into the turmoil full of anticipation – and sometimes raised my eyebrows. Because I remembered something completely different – or at least repressed it. At this point I do not want to start with the ever-long queues that I had to deal with and still have to deal with at the launch of World of Warcraft Classic. Instead I’d like to share some of my emotions which surely many a veteran WoW veteran should share with me.

WoW Classic – the perpetrator of recent DDoS attacks has been arrested

Vanilla WOW Gold The premiere of World of Warcraft Classic at the end of August attracted a lot of people which – unfortunately – translated into huge queues. Apparently however some were not enough because almost two weeks later there were DDoS attacks on Blizzard servers. Today  the company announced on the official WoW forum that a person suspected of causing these problems has been arrested. Her identity has not yet been disclosed.
The case began on Saturday September 7 when the Internet was flooded with a wave of reports of problems not only in World of Warcraft but also Overwatch. In the first title players connected to the server and yet the game restarted for no reason. In turn people playing in the Competitive mode in Blizzard’s team shooter were thrown out of matches and forced to watch the screen of rejoining the game indefinitely. Soon a publisher’s entry appeared informing about DDoS attack causing these problems. After a while everything seemed to be back to normal. Unfortunately the next day players had to face another wave of attacks. This even affected the Overwatch League (via comment post by Wolf “Proxywolf” Schröder on Twitter) not to mention again problems with joining the game in WoW and Overwatch. Only after a few hours it was possible to stabilize the situation on almost all servers.

Blizzard is not the only company that has problems with DDoS. Ubisoft had to face them cheap Vanilla WOW Goldrecently after the debut of Operation Ember Rise in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. The French publisher announced that it intends to draw consequences against the culprits not only in the game but also by legal means. It would not be a precedent – Blizzard himself convicted a Romanian player for an attack on World of Warcraft servers eight years earlier. So we can think that a person detained in connection with recent problems is also not to count on the concern of the concern.

‘World Of Warcraft’ Subscriptions Are Up 223%

WOW Classic Power Leveling World of Warcraft Classic tripled subscriptions in August according to new research from SuperData. The original release of World of Warcraft from 2005 brought old players and new ones back into the realm of Azeroth with subscriptions growing an estimated 223 percent from July to August. The amount of players is still lower than what they were during last August’s Battle for Azeroth expansion but retail WoW updates tend to pull in lots of players in general.

While it looks like WoW Classic is doing all the right things for Blizzard Superdata reports that the total revenue the game brought in over August still wasn’t quite up there with what Blizzard raked in this time last year following the release of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. There’s also a good chance that we’ll be seeing a pretty sharp drop in subscribers again soon as the joy of returning to a classic World of Warcraft could be little more than a disposable novelty for many of the returning players. We’ll have to wait and see.
World of Warcraft Classic will roll out updates to the game at a slow pace giving hardcore grinders enough time to finish raids like Blackrock Depths before adding challenges. A lot of content fans have been clamoring for is still not added like gaining rewards for killing enemy WOW Classic Boosting Still with Classic’s first month into the wild going so strong the sky’s the limit with regard to what might come next. We are already getting a completely remastered Warcraft 3 in the coming months and there’s no telling what other projects Blizzard could be working on behind the scenes.

Speaking of impressive World of Warcraft Classic-related statistics (I know you love them) Pornhub Insights recently uncovered that on August 26 when players were faced with hours-long queues to get into the game Pornhub searches for Warcraft-related terms rose by an eye-watering 210 percent above the daily average. These numbers have of course since gone back down but I don’t think any of will ever forget to communal World of Warcraft self-love session of August 2019. No matter how hard we might try to.

Blizzard is helping old World of Warcraft players reconnect with each other for Classic

With World of Warcraft Classic just around the corner, – a faithful recreation of the original MMO before its many expansions – many players who have been with the title since those early days may find themselves feeling nostalgic about their old friendships that may have faded as the years went on. Blizzard certainly seems to think that, so it has come up with a way for players to track down and reconnect with others from their old servers.

Blizzard has launched a forum tool called “Classic Connections 2004-2006” with the goal of helping pre-expansion WoW players find each other again. Its structure is simple: You start by selecting Horde or Alliance, and then what type of server—PVE, PVP, role-playing PVE, or role-playing PVP—you used to play on. From there, you choose your old server and then post who you were. Blizzard recommends starting with your character’s name, race, class, and guild, as well as the character names of people you’re hoping to tearfully embrace when WoW Classic launches in a few weeks.
The forum also acts as a good entry point for new players who are planning to sign up to Classic this month, and want to find new potential questing buddies for the experience, and – for those who used to enjoy the PvP servers – you can even look up to see if your old nemesis is returning to the game, ready for round two (hundred). If you want to buy World of Warcraft Classic Items, we can give you a very low price, welcome to buy.

Classic Connections has been around for a couple of months, but this is the first time I’ve seen it, despite the proximity to launch. Most of the threads I’ve looked at only have around ten posts, so hopefully Blizzard will put the word out again and get more people searching for old friends.

The World of Warcraft community has, so far, hit up these threads with abandon, leading to many posting small anecdotes of adventures long past or challenges defeated. Even if you didn’t play World of Warcraft back in 2004-2006, or you don’t intend to play World of Warcraft Classic, it’s still worth checking the threads linked above as they’re a cornucopia of stories that make it clear what this game meant to people, and why Blizzard is spending so much time remaking it.
